Through the art of storytelling, a teacher takes his students on a journey where knowledge and imagination meet. ‘‘For thousands of years, storytelling has provided insight, entertainment, understanding, and education to human beings.’’ Storytelling has many advantages in teaching and it should be maintained and developed for excellent outcomes. Here are reasons why storytelling is a powerful teaching technique.
